What do you offer?
COLLABORATIVE PROCESS
A hand-selected team of experts helps you find the best solutions for you and your family.
STEP ONE
Exploring your divorce options is always the best first step for you and your spouse. You have various out-of-court or private divorce options available.
STEP TWO
You and your spouse will independently consult and hire your own Collaboratively trained attorneys.
STEP THREE
You, along with your attorney, will meet with your spouse and his or her attorney, and together you will build a strategic roadmap to resolve all of the matters of your divorce from splitting your assets/liabilities, parenting time, custody, and spousal and child support needs.
In order to keep attorney time (and your overall costs) lower - the Collaborative Process is designed to plug-you into specialized experts for each area of your divorce that needs resolution. For example, a financial specialist often assists in determining tax advantages in property division. Also, the Collaborative Family Specialist can help you and your spouse structure a future oriented parenting plan including on-duty/off-duty parenting time, holiday schedule and communication plan.
STEP FOUR
Once you and your spouse agree upon all of the terms of the divorce (after utilizing experts when needed), the attorneys will draft all of the paperwork for the dissolution to become final. The final documents are sent to the court for a judge to review and approve. Once the judge approves your divorce is final, and you didn't have to step foot in a court room.
MEDIATION PROCESS
You and your spouse reach agreements together with a mediator providing guidance and information along the way.
